The Well Woman Blood Test is a 59-biomarker health check covering heart health, thyroid function, liver and kidney health, iron and blood health, inflammation, blood sugar, bone and mineral markers and CA125. It gives women a broad picture of their health in a single blood sample.
Fatigue, brain fog, low mood and changes around the menopause have many possible causes. A broad panel helps show which areas are worth a closer look.
| Area | Biomarkers |
|---|---|
| Heart health | Total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides and related lipid measures |
| Thyroid function | TSH, Free T4, Free T3, Thyroid peroxidase antibodies, Thyroglobulin antibodies |
| Liver and kidney health | ALT, ALP, AST, creatinine, eGFR and related markers |
| Blood health and iron status | Full blood count, Ferritin, Folate, B12 |
| Inflammation and blood sugar | CRP, HbA1c, ESR |
| Ovarian marker | CA125 |
| Bone and muscle health | Calcium, Phosphate, Albumin |
Sex hormone testing (FSH, LH, oestradiol, progesterone) is available separately in our Hormone Profile Blood Test.
CA125 is a blood marker that can be raised by ovarian conditions, but also by many non-cancer causes. It is not a screening test for ovarian cancer in women without symptoms. If you have persistent symptoms such as bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain or feeling full quickly, see your GP.
Results are usually available within 72 hours.
No. For FSH, LH, oestradiol and progesterone, see the Hormone Profile Blood Test.
Yes, the Over 60s Women's Health Blood Test is designed for that age group.
No. It measures levels in your blood. Diagnosis and treatment decisions are made by a clinician.
This test measures levels in your blood and does not diagnose a condition. It does not replace care from your GP, and if you feel unwell you should seek medical advice. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your health information.
