Body Composition Scan — Body Fat, Muscle & Visceral Fat (Home Visit)

£59.00

The Body Composition Scan is a home or workplace visit that measures your body fat percentage, muscle mass, visceral fat and body water, and gives you a clear one-page summary of what the numbers mean. Scales only show weight. This shows what your weight is made of.

It is useful if you are training, losing weight, building muscle or simply want a better measure of progress than the number on the scales.

What the scan measures

Measure What it tells you
Body fat percentage How much of your weight is fat
Muscle mass How much lean muscle you carry
Visceral fat Fat stored around your organs
Body water Your hydration level at the time of the scan

What happens after you buy

  1. We arrange a time and come to your home or workplace in Essex, Hertfordshire or London.
  2. The scan takes a few minutes. You stand on a smart scale barefoot.
  3. You receive a clear one-page summary the same day.
  4. You can book a rescan whenever you want to track change.

Who it's for

  • People training or changing their diet who want to track more than weight
  • People using weight-loss support who want to check they are keeping muscle
  • Anyone wanting a baseline before making a health change

Frequently asked questions

How does the scan work?

It uses bioimpedance, which sends a very small, painless electrical signal through your body to estimate its make-up. You will not feel it.

How accurate is it?

It is best for tracking change over time. Hydration, food, exercise and time of day all affect readings, so we standardise conditions for each visit. It is not a DEXA scan, which is a different type of medical imaging.

Who should not have the scan?

It is not suitable if you are pregnant or have a pacemaker or other implanted electrical device.

Can I add a blood test or a consultation?

Yes. See the Baseline Session or our Blood and Body Review.

Good to know

The scan gives estimates for tracking and is not a medical diagnosis. It does not replace care from your GP. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
