2. Cut caffeine after 2pm. Caffeine has a half-life of around five to seven hours. An afternoon coffee is still active in your system at bedtime.
3. Cool your room down. 16–19°C for optimal deep sleep. A drop in core temperature is the body's signal to enter slow-wave sleep.
